Purpose

This person will ensure our facilities are kept cleaned and sanitized to FDA and SQF standards.

• Cleans all restrooms to FDA and SQF standards.
• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.
• Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes
• Remove trash and empties garbage containers daily.
• Clean windows and outside picnic area/ smoke shack when needed.
• Clean cafeteria including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and washing the tables, chairs, counters, sink, etc.
• Maintain outside cleanliness of grounds.
• Complete all specified Custodial tasks and keep all required ISO and master cleaning documentation up to date as specified.
• Thorough inspection and complete documentation of the daily facility task checklist.
• Assists in examining site for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to Management
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Follow all GMP’s.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
• Ability to keep the site clean and orderly.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 25  pounds at a time
