Responsibilities

  1. Inspection and Cleaning of molds prior to and after production runs
  2. Assist Tool Makers in Internal Mold Repairs and Mold evaluations
  3. Inspection of mold after external mold repair and after test run.
  4. Provide support for molds while in production.
  5. Quality and ISO and SQF Documentation related to the department.
  6. Safety and Environment in the Tool Shop.

Qualifications

1. Working knowledge of ISO 9000/ QS 9000 and SQF 

2. Minimum of 5 years in injection molding 

3. Experience related to quality testing, inspection, and measuring plastic parts

4. Ability to properly start/ shut down injection molding machines and support equipment including robots

5. Ability to accurately follow both written and verbal instructions
