SUMMARY
Overseeing all traffic functions, carrier scheduling and customer service requests. Any other duties as directed by supervisor or management.
ESSENTIAL JOBS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain warehouse housekeeping, cGMP, and Food Safety standards
2. Complete a minimum of 2 Observation and 2 Near miss audits per month.
3. Help maintain inventory control
4. Maintain warehouse safety standards
5. Accurately verify picks
6. Process completed outbound freight
7. Load and unload freight as required
8. Pick orders for shipment as required
9. Assist in putting goods away as required
10. Training New material handling employees as required
11. Assist daily office functions:
a) Scheduling and setting up the daily outbound shipments
b) Ensuring all outbound shipments are shipped on time and in full
c) Communicate with truck lines and set up scheduling
d) Communicate with inside sales department to ensure customers needs are being fulfilled
e) Communicate with scheduling and production to ensure priorities are appropriately scheduled as required
12. Perform other related duties assigned

1. Support the accomplishment of your work groups through the quality, timeliness and professionalism of your attitude.
2. Supply accurate and timely data as required by performance tracking and reporting.
3. Apply resources in a manner which maximizes their effectiveness in assuring quality.
4. Maintain a work environment which will contribute to the assurance of safety and GMP compliance.
5. Adhere to established procedures, perform self-checking and pay attention to detail in the performance of your work.
6. Notify management in a timely manner of any problems with procedural compliance.
7. Report observed quality problems and deficiencies in a timely manner.
8. Make recommendations to management for improving the quality and efficiency of your work.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. A high school diploma or GED required.
2. Prior shipping and receiving experience is desired including forklift operation.
3. Have good computer knowledge email,excel.
4. A thorough working knowledge and understanding of JDE operation is required.
5. Have the ability to work in a team environment.
6. The ability to work safely in a fast paced environment. Must be flexible
7. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good typing and solid computer skills
8. Display good attention to detail
9. Be or able to obtain Forklift Certification
