Responsibilities

 

Position Summary

We are looking for an excellent Production Worker to help ensure customer satisfaction and plant efficiency by supporting production, inspection of product and packaging needs throughout the facility.  This production worker will take pride in their safety mindset, attention to quality and perfect attendance. This is a high paying job with at a leading global US based company that is dedicated to a creating a safe work environment with opportunities for growth and development. 

 

  • Visually check quality of print against approved sample

  • Pack parts and verify count is correct

  • Load product into lid and cup printers
  • Apply printed label to box
  • Collect and inspect trend board samples at specified times throughout the shift

  • Input data into shop floor computer system

  • Maintain appropriate speed assigned each press

  • Help material handlers as needed 

  • Follow all safety rules, good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and (HACCP) Practices.

  • Fill out Traveler information for production records and reports - Daily
  • Fill out Traceability and Accountability Log Sheets – Daily

  • Must Keep track of all Labels - Daily

  • Must Apply Scrap Labels on Scrap Totes to Send (Machine Scrap) on Conveyor System.

· Ability to calculate parts requirements.

· Strong organizational skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Ability to stand/walk for 12 consecutive hours.

· Ability to read, write and record in quality and production records.

· Ability to use hands to grasp, grip and manipulate boxes and product to inspect and pack 

· Ability to work with and around heavy machinery and equipment

· Minimal lifting capabilities of 35 lbs.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three-months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently push 15 to 35 pound boxes from an inclined roller cart to the powered, roller conveyor.

Starting Pay:  $18.00/Hr. (PLUS $2.00/hr Night Shift Differential)

Job Type: Full-time

12 - Hr Night Shift 6:30PM to 7:00AM (2,2,3,2 schedule)

12 - Hr Night Shift  6:30AM to 7:00PM (2,2,3,2 schedule)

Bi-Annual Bonus Compensation
