Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing a wide variety of tasks associated with maintaining, troubleshooting and improving production molding and assembly machinery and auxiliary equipment.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair and preventive maintenance of all operating equipment, fix equipment and support equipment as assigned
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, robotics and/or program issues with molding and lining machines, and all support equipment; perform appropriate maintenance and/or repairs
- Read electrical and hydraulic print to perform required maintenance and service
- Understand PLC, RS Logic, and robotics to test equipment and/or make adjustments
- Perform daily PM’s and maintain the proper paperwork
- Diagnose issues and provide solutions and ways to improve machines
- Troubleshoot and repair anything else that comes up, even if not listed above (jack of all trades)
- Install machines electrical, plumbing and interface with all other systems.
- Work with other technicians, engineering and manufacturing to continuous operations
- Provide general facilities maintenance
- Comply with safety regulations and established lean manufacturing principles
- Follow applicable Food Safety and cGMP polices
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience                   
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 1-2 years experience working in maintenance for a manufacturing company
· Language Skills -  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  
· Reasoning - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
· Effective written and oral communication skills
· Ability to work with limited supervision
· Knowledge of plumbing, and welding is beneficial
· Advanced technical training or applied experience with hydraulics, industrial electricity, electronics, and control systems
· Excellent print reading (schematics) capabilities
· Additional training may be required to retain position
