Responsibilities

  • Assist Process Techs in seeing that the lines run efficiently and that production is at a maximum while scrap is kept at a minimum.
  • Trains both on the floor and in the production office.
  • Assist operators in their daily routines.
  • Oversee and assist Inspector Packer with packing parts and associated paperwork.
  • Oversee that all employees follow SQF, HACCP, and ISO procedures.
  • Able to return all unused components.
  • Complete IML training.
  • Provides breaks for operators
  • Able to print labels, travelers, spec sheets, and picks.  Complete all paperwork pertaining to items needed (job specific).  Ensure the production floor runs efficiently with need supplies and materials.
  • Able to fill out and follow line clearances, work order changes, and IML changes.
  • Able to check out IML’s
  • Make sure all paperwork is complete and accurate at the end of the shift
  • Able to fill in as Inspector Packers as needed.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Be able to work under pressure and trouble shoot problems quickly
  • Have basic mathematics and computer skills
  • Be a team player
  • Previous experience as Inspector Packer
  • Good work and attendance record
  • Ability to work flexible hours before and after shift.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds regularly
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders safely
  • Must be able to stand , walk or bend through an entire shift
  • Must be able to differentiate color
  • Need adequate eyesight to detect part imperfections
  • Must be able to work around grease, oils, and solvents without adverse reactions.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders throughout shift
  • Good manual dexterity of arms and fingers
