Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the mold techs, provide guidance, training and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of injection molding tools, ensuring they meet quality standards and production requirements.
  • Collaborate with the production teams to optimize tool designs and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for tooling to minimize downtime and extend tool life.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Monitor and manage tooling inventory, ensuring adequate supplies and timely procurement of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the tooling department.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in injection molding maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of injection molding processes and tooling design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools,
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
