Responsibilities

  1. Complete line clearance and first piece inspection documentation upon each work order
  2. Verify all materials and labels match the traveler
  3. Understand traveler size/style descriptors and specialty symbols indicative of production requirements
  4. Perform ongoing quality checks from each tray during production
  5. Communicate with operators taking over your machine of special customer specifications on the current work order or any quality issues you have encountered throughout the shift
  6. Notify setup technicians of any quality concerns
  7. Fill hoppers with components
  8. Assist with breaks
  9. Replenish corrugate and packaging materials at each station
  10. Complete Laminate box count form
  11. Fill out 32 tray inspection form and perform 100% inspection on given trays
  12. Perform rework and ensure documentation is accurate and complete
  13. Review and understand customer packout requirements

Qualifications

  1. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  2. Ability to use a calculator and apply basic math skills
  3. Strong attention to detail
  4. Reading and comprehension skills
  5. Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours during an 8-hour shift
  6. Minimal lifting capabilities of 30 lbs. at a minimal frequency of 20 times per hour
  7. Must be available to work any shift, overtime, and weekends
  8. High school diploma / GED equivalent
  9. Operator experience within manufacturing industry preferred
