You’re an innovative thinker, passionate about the planet and eager to play a role in creating sustainable packaging that keeps the world healthy, fed and working. As part of our world-class, performance-focused team you’ll provide planning and technical support for projects.
As part of the team you'll be responsibile for...
· Maintaining and enforcing all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements.
· Continuously monitoring and reacting to long term production costs and efficiency trends.
· Assisting with product development on new tool designs, start-ups and samples.
· Setting priorities and directing the Process Improvement Team in day to day activities.
· Establishing short and long term goals to optimize uptime and efficiency.
· Tracking progress on goals to keep results on target while meeting deadlines.
· Developing and implementing capital projects that will reduce costs and improve operating efficiency.
· Aiding in the testing of new resins and material substitutions.
· Prioritizing machine/mold issues to develop data driven root-cause analysis and corrective action plans along with short and long term preventive maintenance plans.
· Optimizing facility production cell layouts to increase safety and efficiency.
· Communicating with the quality department to react to any daily production issues and helping develop customer feedback on any concerns.
· Leading and mentoring others to aid in the development of personnel.
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred or proven equivalent experience.
· Must be self-motivated with excellent organizational, communication, and leadership and personal interaction skills.
· Proven troubleshooting abilities.
· Design experience with 2-D CAD or 3-D Modeling.
· Experienced in use of spreadsheet development, data analysis, and effective presentation.
