Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working safely, cleanly and ethically. Follow all plant PPE requirements, safety rules and policies. Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately.
  • Responsible for maintaining general area housekeeping and recording its completion in the daily cleaning logs.
  • Responsible for following all GMPs to assure food product safety.
  • Ensures adequate bulk and packaging is prepared and work station, performs finished roll quality testing and packaging meets Work Order requirements.
  • Basic knowledge and trouble shooting skills of multiple Converting machines, I.e. Drills, Perf’s, Lever and Box Printer.
  • Ensure product quality and machine operation consistency is maintained throughout shift.
  • Trouble shooting skills for Fuji, Packman, or Retail.
  • Responsible for reading and understanding work order to meet product requirements.
  • Ability to make changeovers, getting production lines in operation, make machine adjustments to maintain customer specs.
  • Ensures all Non – Conforming product is segregated and identified.
  • Responsible for completing & supplying accurate production paperwork to Shift supervisor.
  • All other assignments, general and specific, as directed by Supervision.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to work on Manufacturing floor standing for 12+ hours per day.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing procedures.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to safely operate, maintain and perform minor adjustments on heavy equipment.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others.
