Position Summary
We are looking for an excellent Production Worker to help ensure customer satisfaction and plant efficiency by supporting production, inspection of product and packaging needs throughout the facility. This production worker will take pride in their safety mindset, attention to quality and perfect attendance. This is a high paying job with built in overtime at a leading global US based company that is dedicated to a creating a safe work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Starting Pay: $18.00/Hr. (PLUS Shift Differential - $2.00/Hr.)
Job Type: Full-time
12 Hour Night Shift 6:30PM - 7:00AM (2.2,3,2 Schedule)
· Inspect and package plastic products of good quality.
· Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
· Safely utilize basic tools before placing boxes on a pallet.
· Properly complete all required paperwork.
· Read through process manuals and record measurements
· Ensure accuracy and monitor quality of production runs.
· Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency.
· Maintain plant cleanliness through daily work-area cleaning and proper scrap placement.
· Perform additional job duties as required by leadership efficiently and safely.
· Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures.
· Follow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
· High school diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
· Ability to calculate parts requirements.
· Strong organizational skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Ability to stand/walk for 12 consecutive hours.
· Ability to read, write and record in quality and production records.
· Ability to use hands to grasp, grip and manipulate boxes and product to inspect and pack
· Ability to work with and around heavy machinery and equipment
· Minimal lifting capabilities of 35 lbs.
