Responsibilities

 

  • Compression Operation Molding, Finishing and Packaging Equipment
  • Determine cause of equipment problems and correct
  • Repair/Replace equipment as needed to maintain effective operations
  • Analyze and solve productivity issues
  • Instruct others in set-up and monitoring of equipment
  • Perform assigned P.M. functions
  • Adhere to work instructions to insure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Monitor, Inspect, and Package Product
  • Take corrective action, as appropriate, to maintain/improve the product quality
  • Inspect product as necessary to insure quality
  • Prepare, Train and Utilize product quality control plans to insure quality product is being produced
  • Follow good manufacturing practices
  • Relieve other personnel as assigned
  • Other Duties as Assigned (including but not limited to)
  • Participate in daily team meetings
  • Contribute/implement ideas to improve operation performance
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and data collection tasks

 

Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or GED equivalency
  2. Read, write and speak English
  3. Past experience / proven ability
  4. Pass Technical Exam

                 

Preferred Skills:

  1. Precision measurement instrument use
  2. Blue Print reading
  3. Basic Electrical Troubleshooting skills
