Responsibilities

Maintain consistent collection and packaging of parts from assigned press(es). Ensure quality checks across shift (once per hour) are completed in a timely and accurately manner. Complete all necessary paperwork at press, properly documenting quality checks, scrap, and downtime. Inform shift lead of any issues with parts or machine immediately. Keep workstation neat and orderly using provided tools while cleaning throughout shift.

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Communication skills.
  • Properly fill out required paperwork.
  • Understand part quality, what good and bad parts look like and how to spot them.
  • Ability to review quality pulls quickly and notify shift lead if a defect is found.
  • Packaging parts properly and efficiently.
  • Withstand being on feet for 12 hours.
  • Follow set standards (GMP, ISO, safety, etc.).  
  • Accurately record information required.
  • Ability to lift 40-50 pounds.

 Preferences

  • Prior plastics experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Direction also comes from Plant Production Manager.
