Responsibilities

 

Qualifications

Schedule:  Wed-Sun 3:45pm-12:15am

 

  • Transport finished good pallets from production lines to storage or distribution areas and delivering empty pallets to the production line. 
  • Supply materials needed for the production line, such as packaging or components, and may move materials between different areas of the facility.
  • Delivery required packaging materials for each workstation as needed
  • Complete paperwork related to production or inventory. 
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment within the warehouse. 
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Able to operate forklift and push pulls
  • Self – Motivated
  • Very good knowledge of all products stored in the warehouse
  • General mathematics and computer skills
  • Ensure that company policy is followed
  • Attend safety training
  • Follow all safety instructions and policies
  • Report any injuries or near miss accidents to the supervisor
  • Report any unsafe acts or conditions to the supervisor
  • Wear required PPE, including Bump Cap and hearing protection
  • Education and/or Equivalent Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

 

4.3 Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Must be able to work twelve (12) hours per day, five (5) days per week. Overtime may be necessary.
  • (Obsolete Temperature information, due to facility climate control)
  • The noise level is 90dB.
  • Polyethylene, polystyrene, PET, polypropylene and purging compound materials are both processed and ground, which provides some fumes and dust.
  • Indoor and outdoor work is required.
  • Must be able to use a pallet hand jack for moving materials weighing up to 1,000 lbs. Ability to grasp with hands and push/pull materials.
  • Must be able to wear protective clothing such as a hairnet, rubber-soled/steel toed shoes, earplugs/muffs, hardhat and a beard guard (if applicable). No jewelry except for a wedding band without stones.
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs. occasionally during the day.
  • Must be able to stand approximately 90% of the day and sit the remainder of the day in a standard office chair.
  • Must be able to respond in emergency situations as instructed in the Plant Emergency Organization Team procedure.

 

5.0 Organizational Relationship:

  • Reports to the Production Supervisor.
