The Contract Administrator will ensure the accurate and timely processing of customer contracts, sales agreements, and rebate agreement using a Contract Lifecycle Management tool. Other responsibilities include performing commercial contract risk assessment, understanding the overarching strategy of the commercial teams’ objectives for their customers, and being able to quickly adapt to complex business issues.
Additionally, the Contract Administrator will be expected to develop professional working relationships with cross-functional team members and management to facilitate department alignments and secure necessary contract approvals. The ideal candidate will be required to coach and guide key stakeholders to ensure Amcor as an organization complies with its established CLM processes. The ideal candidate must be able to take what they have learned from prior experiences and then apply them to new, unfamiliar situations.
Responsibilities:
· Utilize the contract lifecycle management tool, Icertis , and other software, to process, document, track, communicate and finalize contract proposals.
· Read and comprehend commercial and legally binding contract terminology.
· Verify and document the integrity of data provided by the requestor.
· Ensure Amcor is in compliance with agreed terms of the contract by working with internal parties to monitor and record actions toward compliance or fulfillment of obligations.
· Along with leadership, be able to manage competing urgent requests, priorities and deadlines in an organized fashion.
· Effectively work with the commercial team in a professional manner.
· Manage completion of Contract Executive Summary and finalize with supervisor prior to sending to Sales and Leadership for Executive approval.
· Hold self and others accountable for completing tasks in a timely manner.
· Prepare contract data reports toward meeting established KPIs.
· Coach internal stakeholders through established contract processes and procedures.
· Must be able to manage your own efforts in meticulous detail to stay organized and focused on daily task completion.
· 3 years of consistent experience and advancement of skill set with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, etc.)
· 2-3 years of successful analytical experience or experience working with commercial contracts
· Relevant, transferable skills developed in a business setting: such as critical thinking, risk assessment and application of financial acumen
· Ability to guide and direct courses of action at all levels of sales and management
· Demonstrated leadership in managing processes and influencing people
· Ability to provide clear concise verbal and written communication
· Absolute confidentiality at all times
· Display flexibility in complex, ambiguous, and stressful situations.
This position is not remote. This role will be filled at our Downtown Evansville IN Facility. Preferred candidates will be located in the Evansville area.
