Responsibilities

Amcor - Mankato at 2111 3rd Avenue has a full-time, entry level opening in our converting department on our production floor.  This position is responsible for removing, counting and packaging product.  Maintain a safe and neat work environment and troubleshooting machines as necessary. 

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift to 35 lbs.
  • Able to stand and walk in a 10-hr. day
  • Must be able to perform math calculations
  • Good communication skills
  • Various other duties as assigned

Additional Info

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced production environment is highly preferred.
  • Regularly required to stand for long periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Good hand-eye coordination is required.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. 
  • Required use of PPE including but not limited to: Bump Cap, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Safety Shoes, Hearing Protection.
  • Position requires agility and consistent attention to detail.
  • Able to tolerate repetition.
  • Ability to work well independently or in a team environment; displaying ability to work and deliver results in a fast-paced, performance driven environment.

 

 

Pay rate:  $17.51 per hour

Hours: Monday through Thursday 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.
