Responsibilities

  • Provide a production schedule designed to maximize output considering plant labor and changeover crewing 
  • Coordinate the availability of raw materials to meet production schedules.
  • Execute short to medium-term production plans, ensuring optimization for maximum output and high service levels.
  • Ensure demand and capacity assumptions are realistic, achievable, and aligned with the S&OP forecast.
  • Lead production reviews with plant management and production leads to align on resource productivity expectations while driving production output improvements.
  • Monitor and manage the utilization of molds and machines based on current and future demand.
  • Support SCM in the monthly demand and capacity review process with Plant leadership and Operations teams.
  • Work with all departments to identify best methods for performance improvements
  • Manage budgeted inventory levels within provided space requirements.
  • Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department health requirements

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or 2-3 years of equivalent experience in material planning and/or inventory management preferred
  • Strong analytical skill and problem solving skills
  • Strong organization/time management skills
  • Proficient in JDE or comparable ERP system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to set, manage, and meet deadlines
