Responsibilities

Inspects, accepts, or rejects inbound shipments.
-Signs for deliveries and if necessary refuses delivery of packages.
-Delivers product to appropriate personnel/departments.

Put Away and Consolitation activities.
-Performs put away activities on a daily basis.
-Consolidates partial product on a weekly basis and transfer location to SAP System.
Cycle Counts
-Performs cycle counts and reconciles discrepancies on a daily basis.
-Participates in annual full cycle count.
Non Conformance Reports
-Pull and deliver rejected product based on  NCR's to HFI area to be placed on hold.
Scrap Control
-Counts and weighs scrap for weekly pick up.
-Fill scrap report in a daily basis for Continous Improvement Manager.
Warehouse Housekeeping and Safety
-Ensure Warehouse is kept clean and clear of safety issues on a daily basis.
-Sweeps and mops floors.
-Ensures all pathways are kept clear.
-Empties garbage containers when full.
-Perform daily safety checklist when driving forklift
-Report any unsafe condition or near miss on the Warehouse

Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.

Qualifications

Ability to operate a stand up and sit down forklift.
Inventory experience.
Basic math/counting skills.
Basic computer proficiency (Excel)

Experience with SAP or other ERP system.

Warehouse environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to move shipments and equipment.

Standing/walking for long periods of time.

Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.
Actively demonstrating commitment by maintaining a consistent and predictable work schedule.
Consistently maintaining high levels of activity or productivity; sustaining long working hours when necessary; operating with vigor, effectiveness, and determination over extended periods of time.
Willing and able to work overtime or change shifts as needed.
Taking prompt action to accomplish objectives; taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required; being proactive.
Being aware of conditions that affect employee safety.
