Equipment Health: Plan, manage and execute preventive maintenance annual plan for all (IMM, liner and assembly machines and automation machines/robots, air compressor, chiller, tower water, transformers, silos, material room) in the facility. Electronically maintain documentation for PM's, repairs and spend for all maintenance activities. Manages the installation of new and used equipment. Authorize to take out of service any machine or equipment that would further deteriorate it upon continued use. | ||||||||
People: Supervises maintenance personnel in maintaining machines and equipment. Plans and maintains maintenance schedules. Provides technical advice and training to production and maintenance personnel. Organize work schedules for Maintenance Department. | ||||||||
CAPEX & Budget Control: Participates in recommending purchase of new capital equipment, plant layout, production methods, material handling, and parts inventory. Adhere to maintenance spend budget. Issue request for capital expense for continued plant product and machine maintenance. | ||||||||
Support to other departments: Integrate new automation equipment with production personnel. Assists Tool Room in making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality. | ||||||||
Contractors: Arranges and coordinates outside contractors to include the upkeep of recommended building and ground repairs. Ensure contractors have Liability of Insurance at the levels prescribed and that they comply with Safety rules and regulations when on site. Monitors contactors while job is performed and verify completions vs. contract agreements. | ||||||||
Purchasing: Authorizes the purchase of materials for use by maintenance department. Work with Buyer to assure stock and repair parts are ordered and in inventory to avoid downtime. This includes quoting of all work and following purchasing procedures. | ||||||||
Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement as well as standard work procedures. Determines the approval for new controlled documents or change of existing documents. Coordinates with ISO standards for preventative machine maintenance and complies with documented procedures. |
