Join our team as a Quality Technician and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and print-readiness of digital artwork. This position offers a dynamic blend of technical evaluation, creative collaboration, and process coordination in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Evaluate digital files for print feasibility.
• Verify all digital resources are accounted for and in compliance, including but not limited to images, fonts, bar codes, graphics and colors.
• Proofread and compare artwork files for accuracy and printability.
• Validate digital files to production specific requirements.
• Assign and schedule jobs to artists.
• Effectively balance workloads based on skill sets, job timing and availability.
• Provide technical support and instructions to artists, coordinators, vendors and/or customers.
• Maintain a 24-hour turnaround time on all quality activities.
• Contribute to meet department and company goals.
• Participate in meetings as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks on special projects as needed by department management.

• Degree in Graphics Arts and/or Printing Technology or equivalent in work experience.
• High attention to detail needed to check complex work for accuracy and completeness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, administrative, and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working in a customer-focused team environment.
• Critical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Computer experience (Mac OS preferred), experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Knowledge of printing processes preferred.
• Ability to balance efficiency with thoroughness.
• Color vision within normal limits.
• Visual acuity of at least 20/50 for distance (corrected or uncorrected) and a minimal near vision ability to read 10-12 point type at a distance of 12-18 inches.
