POSITION SUMMARY
The Mechanice will be responsible for locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation. Mechanics remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examing formand texture of parts. The Mechanic determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring insturments. Additionally, Mechanics will need to document any maintenance that may take place.
