Responsibilities

As a multi-site Controller with direct responsibility for 2 plants, this position is focused both on top and bottom line performance and includes responsibility for all 5 plants in North America covering:

· Key contact for product line management, product development, sales, and supply chain with a focus on growing business in new technologies

o Development and justification of major capital investment projects, including standard cost modeling

o Post project ROI analysis

o Finance contact for production platform / infrastructure capabilities, between plants

· Product margin reviews, pricing proposals, and rebate/incentive programs

 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership & Reporting

  • Ongoing Position Requirements

    · Complete monthly financial reporting requirements – specifically plant P&L reporting and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple Berry plants

    · Complete monthly financial closing on schedule.

    · Provide accurate weekly financial forecasts

    · Provide all other required weekly and monthly reporting requirements including key metrics

    · Work closely with plant managers and divisional leadership to identify, measure, and execute ways for improving the profitability of the business, especially cost reduction activities

    · Understand and implement best practices in all facets of the business

    · Ensure the facilities are Sarbanes-Oxley compliant

    · Capital planning and analysis for plant maintenance and cost reduction projects.

    · Open capital project financial management

    · Manage annual budget process for sales and P&L

    · Plant master data maintenance and production order reconciliation

    · Ad hoc analysis as required by management

    · Other duties as assigned

Compliance & Controls

  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to Amcor’s Code of Conduct and financial ethics policies.

Within the Global Health Care - North America segment of Rigid Packaging Solutions International (RPSI), we have a Regional Controller position with direct responsibility for 2 plants and includes some overall reporting responsibility for all 7 plants in North America including plants located in:

 

Ahoskie, NC

Brookville, PA

Cranbury, NJ

Franklin, IN

Greenville, NC

Millville, NJ

Youngsville, NC

 

Responsibilities

As a multi-site Controller with direct responsibility for 2 of these plants.

Qualifications

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting with 5+ years relevant experience

· Understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory, and data processing

· Prior experience with ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards) and MS Office

· Strong understanding of manufacturing operations desired

· Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley as related to manufacturing accounting

· Capability to build/maintain excellent rapport with facility management teams and divisional leadership

· Ability to travel as needed
