Responsibilities

  • Assist with administrative duties within the Human Resources Department
  • Process employment applications and maintain tracking log; assist in scheduling interviews and pre-employment testing
  • Update Applicant Tracking System with new hires; off-board terminated employees
  • Conduct new hire orientations
  • Maintain weekly manpower schedule; Update Kronos with shift changes (audit records)
  • Assist and motivate with the completion of compliance courses
  • STAR team leader – handles the ordering of prizes and awards
  • Administer HRIS system changes
  • Assist with employee benefit issues
  • Assist on various HR special projects; participate on a team
  • Maintain employee files
  • Assist with walk-in questions
  • Participate in Plant and departmental Quality meetings
  • Serve as backup to HR Generalist and HR Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication and organization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required. Previous experience using HRIS software is preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of labor laws and requirements preferred
  • Ability to work with confidential information
