Responsibilities

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for providing supervision and direction to all shift inventory employees; to operate the department within all safety regulations and quality standards; to maintain accurate inventory levels and production standards; to exhibit the highest standard of professionalism and a positive attitude while handling multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Report to upper management.
  • Oversee the compliance of all Company policies and procedures as it relates to the position of Inventory Supervisor.
  • Promote a Safe and Productive “TEAM” work environment.
  • Communicate between shifts and departments to anticipate and prepare for any possible material or production concerns.
  • Maintain good employee relations by stimulating maximum efficiency and productivity of employees through good communication and regular performance reviews.
  • Provide training as appropriate (i.e. tool box meetings, safety, etc.).
  • Data analysis and entry related to inventory movements, transactions, order processing, bills of lading and cycle counts.
  • Coordinate physical inventories ( on and off site) and implement process improvements in inventory control procedures.
  • Review warehouse weekly cycle counting program to ensure that the inventory is accurate.
  • Provide reports, analysis and propose corrective measures to meet an accuracy rate of 95% by location.
  • Prepare daily resin inventories and investigate all inventory discrepancies and make any necessary adjustments.
  • JDE/DC Link Specialist, including training to all required employees.
  • Perform scheduling duties for individual presses in manufacturing in order to meet orders and support monthly forecast while maintaining a smooth workflow.
  • Review & monitor daily production to monitor customer demands. Adjust schedule as needed.
  • Inventory control of finished goods, WIP & raw materials & planning for production.
  • WebEff data processing.
  • Collect and summarize raw material usage and inventory, monitoring usage for maximum efficiency.
  • Must follow and comply with Safety & Absolutes.
  • Must follow and comply with all ISO 9001, ASI - Food Safety, ISO 15378 established requirements.
  • Must follow all regulatory laws and guidelines.
  • Any other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Present a positive and professional attitude at all times
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. Additional education preferred.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, written and leadership skills.
  • Be punctual and maintain good attendance record.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Is able to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Proficient computer skills – word, excel, data processing.
  • Possess functional knowledge of production scheduling, bar coding, MRP, shipping, receiving, inventory control & purchasing.
  • Able to define problems and seek out appropriate help for resolution.
  • Able to coordinate & participate in multiple tasks.
  • Negative drug screen results.
