Responsibilities

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Able to drive and operate a scissor Lift and fork truck
  • Able to perform manual labor tasks as assigned
  • Work In a safe manner in accordance to federal and company policies
  • Must have knowledge of LOTO and Arc Flash
  • Able to follow federal and company policies and procedures
  • Proven ability to work as a team
  • Ability to be self motivated and work with minimal supervision
  • Attend department and plant meeting and training
  • Ability to read and interpret machine prints
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must have familiarity with most hand and power tools
  • Must have experience with the following:
    • Electrical (required)
    • Mechanical (required)
    • Pneumatic (optional)
    • Plumbing (optional)
    • HVAC (optional)

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work with others.
  • Honest, dependable, and motivated.
  • Good math skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Must have good communications skills, written and verbal.
  • Must know how to use basic measuring tools and power tools
  • Have a valid Driver’s license.
  • Mechanical ability.
  • Must provide own hand tools.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Lift certified.
  • Crane certified.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to work around grease, oils, and solvents without adverse reactions.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and squat throughout 12 hr entire shift.
  • Fork truck/ scissor lift certified
  • Ability to work from heights, including ascending/descending ladders
  • Ability to wear all provided personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work in high noise environment

Starting Pay: $29.00/hr plus shift differential
