Responsibilities

  • Document incoming shipments, deliver to proper areas, and obtain acknowledgement of receipts.
  • Process bills of material maintenance; coordinate with purchasing, production, sales, and customer service to ensure all bill of materials are available to produce customer requirements in a timely manner.
  • Print and resolve issues on the JDE error log.
  • Perform cycle count; research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist shipping department with physical inventory and inventory adjustments.
  • Generate reports regarding inventory, scrap, etc.
  • Provide daily warehouse capacity to Materials Control Manager.
  • Assure the JDE system matches the physical inventory.
  • Process inventory adjustments from network.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Material Control Manager.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent.
  • One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Forklift Operator Certificate; experience operating a pallet jack.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to resolve problems involving several concrete variables.
  • Ability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, days, or nights for 12 or more hours.  
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and crawl for extended periods multiple times per day.
  • Must have manual dexterity involving total wrist action, twisting, pulling, and raising arms at or above shoulder height.
  • Ability to work in warm, humid, and cool climates for 12 or more hours per day or night.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes safety glasses, safety goggles, hearing protection, steel toe shoes/boots, face shield, gloves, and face mask.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 65 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception
  • Knowledgeable of JDE Inventory functions is a plus; knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and Outlook.
  • Must be fluent in English and have strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual is a plus.
