Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to production departments.

Provide engineering support to Maintenance Department and Building & Systems.

Provide engineering support for upgrades, replacements, equipment, and construction projects.

Manage and work on various projects as assigned by Plant Director.

Requisition funds, contact contractors, and acquire bids for projects.

Oversee work to insure projects are completed within budget, time restraints and meets safety standards.

Safety Leadership – Embodies commitment for a safe workplace; acts as a role model on safety leadership, activities and communication

Accountability –holds self-accountable evidenced by say/do ratio, initiative and ownership actions (such as ensuring safety is more important than productivity

Communication – ability to communicate safety, goals and company expectations with appropriate levels of the organization; create clear, timely audience appropriate messages (both written and verbal).

Qualifications

 

Additional Info

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Leadership abilities.

Organizational Skills including Computer Skills.

Ability to work on many projects at the same time.

Excellent communication skills.
