Qualifications

As a foundational member of the newly formed Supply Chain Continuous Improvement & Analytics team, the Supply Chain Analytics Manager will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable and prescriptive insights that drive operational excellence across the AFCD supply chain. This role will focus on building advanced analytics capabilities—including predictive and prescriptive modeling—to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with deep analytical expertise and a passion for enabling smarter, faster decisions through data. This individual will collaborate across functions to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and implement improvements that enhance supply chain agility, efficiency, and resilience.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and deploy prescriptive analytics models to support supply chain optimization and strategic decision-making.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into KPIs and operational performance.
  • Partner with supply chain, IT, and business teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility across platforms.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and scenario modeling to support CI initiatives and business planning.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Support the deployment of CI methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) through data-driven analysis and measurement.
  • Lead analytics workstreams for cross-functional projects focused on cost reduction, service improvement, and process efficiency.
  • Stay current with emerging analytics tools, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance team capabilities.
  • Train and mentor team members and business partners in data literacy and analytics tools.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership, influencing decisions with data-backed insights.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

Experience Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations research, or business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Experience with prescriptive analytics techniques such as optimization, simulation, and decision modeling.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with CI methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Passion for continuous learning and innovation in analytics and supply chain strategy.
