Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate and support the CQV process for mold rebuilds and/or qualifications.
  2. Provide Quality Manager with reliable statistical data in order to approve/disprove the qualification.
  3. Support Quality Supervisor with additional trending and data analysis needs in order to provide Quality Manager and/or Product Development detailed information regarding recurrent mold problems.
  4. Gather and assemble all pertinent mold transfer information for molds leaving this location.
  5. Maintain calibration procedures.
  6. Maintain and ensure an accurate measuring and testing system.
  7. Responsible for programming and/or troubleshooting lab equipment.
  8. Investigate and/or implement new quality measuring and testing systems for the lab.
  9. Assist in team problem solving with statistical data and backup information as necessary.
  10. Use data to drive continuous improvement.
  11. Assist Quality Manager with investigations for root cause and corrective action.
  12. Design, lead, and participate in training activities for production staff in the effort to improve quality.
  13. Disposition all rejected product daily, as backup to the Quality Supervisor.
  14. Attend daily production meeting to communicate current molding issues and rejections, as backup to the Quality Supervisor.
  15. Provide monthly statistical reports as requested.
  16. Audit 5S implementation and effectiveness in the plant.
  17. Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements.

Qualifications

  1. College degree, CQE or equivalent Quality experience preferred.
  2. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  3. Working knowledge of C-Pro, Ignition, Six Sigma, Excel, Minitab, and Team Building.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Proven ability to lead employees in positive manner.
  6. Experience in Material preferred.
