Responsibilities

  • Plan and Prepare Master Production Schedules for production lines to meet Shipping Dates
  • Collaborate with plant personnel to identify initiatives and best methods for performance improvements.
  • Maximize machine efficiencies while maintaining appropriate inventory levels to meet requirements.
  • Monitor Work Order component inventory and release work orders to manufacturing.
  • Monitor aging and obsolete inventory and work toward resolution.
  • Work with purchasing to ensure raw material supplies are sufficient and received as needed for production planning.
  • Work with Customer Service and Sales to prepare timelines and address any supply challenges/issues
  • Maintain an accurate up-to-date production plan
  • Utilize planning tools to ensure an accurate forward-looking plan.
  • Complete other reasonable tasks and projects related to job purview as needed.

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years Production scheduling experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Concepts and applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Manufacturing Software
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities as the business demands
