Upholds and actively promotes all company policies and procedures.
Ensures departmental compliance with the company’s Quality Vision Policy.
Adheres to established attendance guidelines and expectations.
Manages daily scheduling of loads delivering and picking up in order to maintain a satisfactory OTIF level.
Demonstrates flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Executes standard functions within Transportation Management Center (TMC).
Obtains shipping quotes for CRS.
Will maintain and develop multiple spreadsheets used by other Amcor departments.
Motivates and supports team members to enhance performance and foster personal and professional development.
Plans and schedules customer orders to meet service level goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
Processes shipping documentation including order printing, Bill of Lading (BOL) creation, and JDE entries for inbound and outbound shipments.
Maintains effective communication with trucking companies, Customer Care, and inter-plant coordinators to ensure smooth product flow.
Demonstrates strong verbal communication skills with internal teams, external customers, and transportation partners.
Collaborates with freight carriers to resolve shipment issues such as tracking discrepancies and proof of delivery (POD) requests.
Actively supports and enforces all company safety initiatives and policies.
Participates in cross-functional teams focused on quality improvement, cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and safety initiatives.
Performs additional duties as assigned, including tasks ranging from current role responsibilities to entry-level functions as needed.
Must be proficient in all areas of Scheduling/Warehousing/Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Control functions.
Knowledge of and skill in operating various office equipment to include fax, copiers, printers and PC functions.
The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast-paced environment. Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Perform On-Call Weekend Duties as needed.
4-5 years’ experience in warehousing or logistics field.
Minimum 2-3 years Supervisory Experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
Good planning and organization skills.
Good Communication (Verbal & Written) skills.
PC literate with MS Office, JDE, dc-link, and internet.
Coordinates directly with transportation carriers to establish and maintain the daily delivery and pickup schedule. Serves as the primary liaison between MLU Shipping and Amcor Customer Service, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution. Collaborates with warehouse coordinators and team leads to strategically plan staffing levels, aligning resources to meet customer demand efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem solver, has strong attention to detail and possesses excellent communication skills.
