Responsibilities

This is for a 1st shift position (7:00 AM -3:30 PM) in the Thermoforming QA department

  • Communicate quality issues discovered to other shifts
  • Fill out the Quality Assurance Daily report
  • Perform a resin check of the molding floor
  • Check cycle times of molding machines that are running
  • Pick up a complete shot of parts off of each molding press that is running
  • Cool parts in the QA lab
  • Check the colors using the Densitomer, color chips and signed samples from marketin
  • Check the jobs on the molding floor and document findings
  • Size and weigh molding parts and document findings
  • Notify molders and QA shift lead/Group lead/Supervisor/Manager of defects and size problems on molded parts
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Good color perception
  • Self-motivated
  • Good organizational, math and communication skills
  • Previous QA experience preferred
