Responsibilities

  • Rework needs of both the Thermo Printing, Thermoform and Molding departments.
  • Work closely with the Shift Supervisors of both the Thermo Printing, Thermoform and Molding departments to disposition NCMRs.
  • Monitor and track the status of Hold NCMRs, ensuring that they are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate rework staffing needs to the production Shift Supervisors.
  • Schedule and monitor rework projects.
  • Update and track rework costs, labor and rework projects.
  • Communicate with the Shipping/Receiving Department and production MH's to move and transfer product.
  • Responsible for the documentation and completion of all rework projects.
  • Responsible for the mailing/shipping and tracking of samples when applicable.
  • Provide daily updates to QA group leads or QA manager
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Work extended shifts and weekends when applicable.
  • Understand and promote ISO 9001.
  • Understand and promote SQF.
  • Assist within the Quality labs as needed.
  • Assist the QA Samples Coordinator as needed.
  • Assist with any other job duties as needed.
  • Qualified personnel will provide training for this position.
  • Authority to utilize Stop Work policy on a safety or quality issue.
  • Authority to release product from hold.   
  • Authority to escalate NCMRs up to Management Level. 
  • Able to work independently and with others in a team-oriented atmosphere.

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to make decisions on quality defects for dispositions.
  • Must be able to commute to different warehouse locations for rework projects.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Firm knowledge of JDE.
  • Good understanding of Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Able to work on multiple tasks.
  • Good past work experience including good attendance record.
