Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES, and AUTHORITY:

  • Maintain list of Railcars and silos for all Resins.
  • Unload Railcars and or bulk trucks into silos.
  • Maintain all records for the resins.
  • Maintain the fire alarm, fire protection pumps, equipment and backup generator.
  • Maintain Railcar unloading equipment.
  • Operate man lifts and work overhead at heights up to 70 ft. Operate fork truck and overhead crane as needed. 
  • Keep track of Resin inventory and perform weekly measurements and adjustments.
  • Install water, air and natural gas service for production equipment
  • Repair and service plumbing
  • Assist in maintenance of molding and printing machine support equipment, air compressors, air dryers, cooling towers, chillers, process water pumps and material pneumatic handling system
  • Maintain good relationship with the Railroad and Corporate Purchasing to keep Resin flowing in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment 
  • Maintain equipment to keep it in proper and safe operating order
  • Understanding of JDE system
  • Life Saving Behaviors, work in a safe manner.
  • To perform other tasks as required

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School or equivalent diploma.
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical
  • Able to work independently and with others.
  • Able to accept responsibility for work performed. 
  • Good organizational skills.
