Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including motors, drives, conveyors, HVAC, and compressed air systems.
  • Install, modify, and relocate machinery and equipment as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reduce waste.
  • Follow all safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and Berry's Safety Standards.
  • Collaborate with production team to resolve equipment issues and implement solutions.
  • Participate in scheduled and emergency maintenance activities, including overtime and weekend coverage.
  • Will need to be “on call” to assist with any maintenance operational needs.
  • Adheres to safety policies and procedures in compliance with Berry’s guidelines including
    wearing PPE in designated areas.
  • Visually inspects production area for tripping hazards,
    equipment safeguards, employee’s safety, and adherence to policies and maintains
    compliance with OSHA, other governmental agencies and housekeeping rules.
  • All other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous knowledge of machinery used in polyethylene film manufacturing.
  • Three to five years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical or mechanical field or in a related
    experience.
    · Strong analytical abilities.
    · Able to work independently as well as in-group settings.
    · Strategic thinker.
  • Basic math skills
  • · Good English language skills
  • · Welding skills
  • · Prior experience working in a
  • manufacturing environment
  • · Hands on manufacturing mechanical
  • experience · Strong mechanical knowledge ·
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of electrical trade
  • · Ability to troubleshoot & solve problems · Carpentry skills ·
  • No fear of heights
